Marie Claire O'Sullivan - aka MC
Joined The Lunarsea family in Oct' 2001. Marie has brought her melodic
lead vocal style to the group which became the core melody for the
group, as well as incorporating her classically trained Harp &
Piano playing.
Warren Tivy - aka
Hatz
As a founding member of The Lunarsea, Warren incorporates the use
of organs - keys - decks'n'efxs - brass as well as the hip-hop vocals
that express the bands funk movement.
Owen Corrigan - aka ?
Lead guitarist Owen was recruited from the capital city as founding
member of The Lunarsea, to add his vast musical flavour and melodic
structures to the band aswell as his keyboard playing skills.
Ray O' Sullivan - aka Hook
Veteran Bass Player Ray is another vital backbone to the group and
also a founding member of The Lunarsea. His funky-ass bass playing,
a league of it's own drives the bands grooves with power and persuasion.
Oliver Loughnan - aka
Live Live Beats
Oliver is a dedicated percussionist and also a founding member of
The Lunarsea. Adding his Conga, Dejemba and break-beat kit style
anchors the bands solid beats with precision.
John O' Riordan - aka The Fonz
Trained in outback Australia in Didgeridoo playing by a native aborigine.
John brought his didg rhythms to the group when he returned to Ireland
in the summer of 2001. Having a vast knowledge of tribal music John
has aided the group immensely.
